The Way of the Child is a curriculum designed to help children experience God. The lessons in this curriculum are engaging, thoughtful, and meaningful. For three Wednesdays in August, our first through sixth graders are invited to join our Children’s Minister, Ruth DuCharme, in a creative and active study of some meaningful passages of Scripture that are meant to help children grow in the image of God.
These studies will take place at 6:30 p.m. during Prayer Service on August 6, August 13, and August 20. For the first session, the children will study the Fruits of the Spirit. On August 13, they will explore the concept of abiding in Christ as they study John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches.” The final session on August 20 will be a study of Jeremiah 18:1-11 and is titled, In God’s Hands.
This time of study will engage the children in learning through art, journaling, and group interaction. All first through sixth graders are encouraged to attend.
