The Gathering, a new group for college students and young adults, met for the first time last Tuesday evening. We had a great group of young adults meet for Bible study and conversation.
The Gathering will also have lunch together in the Great Room after Worship on Sunday, September 21 and a lake day on Saturday, September 27. College students and young adults, come and join the fun!
A New Opportunity for College Students and Young Adults
College students and young adults have a new opportunity to grow in Christ together. A new small group will meet each week for conversations where the Bible intersects with real life and real questions. This group is called “The Gathering” and will include both HHBC college students and friends from college campuses. Young adults beyond college will come also; any “twenty-something” person is invited.
The Gathering meets on Tuesday nights at Taste and See Coffee Shop, beginning in September. Erin Hall, Ginger Gilpin, and Mark and Sara Spivey will lead this group of young adults. This group will also host social events once a month to grow together and connect with HHBC students who are away at college. Please pray for The Gathering and the unique ways that Highland Hills can minister to young adults.
