Some say that it’s not really Christmas until “O Holy Night” is proclaimed and friends and family members lift their voices in “Joy to the World” with faces lit by candlelight. That’s how we observe Christmas Eve at Highland Hills.

On Thursday, December 24, our church family, as well as many guests, will gather to celebrate the birth of Christ. The evening begins with an organ recital by Gerald Carper at 5:00 p.m. and continues with a worship service, including communion and candlelight.

If the Christmas Eve service has not been a tradition for your family, we invite you to join us this year. As you listen to the Christmas classics on the organ, share communion with other families, and leave the sanctuary by the glow of candlelight, your spirit will be calmed and your heart prepared for the birth of our Savior.
