Missy Ward-Angalla, CBF field personnel in Uganda, recently wrote of note of gratitude to Highland Hills for our support.
"I am very grateful for the support from the Highland Hills community! It has helped enable and empower me to be the presence of Christ to refugee women and girls who are deeply hurting. Just yesterday, I was with one of the residents of the shelter. She shared with me how it was a miracle for her to be in the shelter and it is one of the first times in her life that she has felt so safe and so much love. God has really healed her life and the life of her young daughter over the last few months since they arrived. She has come to understand that God created her with a purpose and loves her through daily discipleship classes. She also has received deeply needed counseling, education and vocational training, which has enabled healing and has empowered her with skills needed to support herself and daughter! God is doing an amazing work through your support and prayers!
I am grateful!"
