Sunday School is one of the most important ministries that we offer for our children's faith development. It is a means of developing children who are biblically literate and giving them a strong foundation for their faith. It is my hope that our Highland Hills children are receiving the best biblical training that we can offer, and that we are equipping them to be disciples who use their hearts and minds to follow Christ.

This summer our Children’s Ministry has decided to change some things in our Children’s Sunday School Department. During the summer months, we will be offering a 1st through 4th grade class and a tween class for 5th and 6th graders. We will also change our curriculum for the summer and offer a theme-oriented study.

Our 1st through 4th graders will spend the months of June and July celebrating creation and the Creator. They will use a curriculum titled "Celebration Creation,” while our 5th and 6th graders will use a curriculum designed just for tweens that is titled, "Connect." Their unit of study will connect them to the earthly ministry of Christ.

Our Sunday School teachers are eager to share this new format with our children. We hope that when you are in town this summer that you will make Sunday School and worship a priority for your family, and that we may all seek to grow in faith and service to our

Lord.
