“Then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?” ~ Matthew 25:37-40
One way we are developing missional disciples is to work towards a church-wide awareness of needs in our community. Through March, we will consider the needs of children in foster care in Bibb County. We claim that these children are beloved and made in God’s image; providing suitcases for them offers a sense of dignity and security as they move to new placements.
Please donate suitcases or duffle bags for children and youth (new or gently used) through March 31. Leave these in the church office.
In addition, we invite our children to bring a new, small, stuffed animal or a new, soft blanket to share with children in foster care to the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m.
Women on Mission are also collecting items to meet needs in our community. WOM is collecting donations to help people of Daybreak Center. Please donate: detergent, dryer sheets, baking soda, and vinegar.
