We are thrilled and excited to share that Highland Hills Baptist Church is the host for the Moxie Matters tour coming to Macon in January! Moxie Matters is an evening with bestselling author Jen Hatmaker and singer/songwriter Nichole Nordeman. The event is Wednesday, January 24 at 7:00 pm at The Grand Opera House. “Moxie Matters” is a one-night event featuring Jen Hatmaker and Nichole Nordeman. The format is a blend of music, stories, laughter, and conversation (7:00 pm – 10:00 pm; doors open at 6:00 pm). Our regular Wednesday programming on January 24 will be somewhat modified as we help carry out this event at The Grand. We hope that you will make plans to attend this evening of Moxie Matters. Information about ways you can volunteer is coming soon.

As a host of this event, HHBC will play a role in welcoming, introducing and sharing with our neighbors about how Highland Hills is following God in this season. Consider what it will mean to gather over 1,000 people together to hear a story of mess, moxie and redemption. Pray about what it will mean to let those moments ripple through the real lives of people in the Macon area. Everyone is invited to purchase a ticket for “Moxie Matters” at this link, or by calling the church office. We will host some guests from our ministry partnerships at this event. Please invite your friends and neighbors to come and enjoy an evening with Jen Hatmaker and Nichole Nordeman.

On Wednesday, January 24th, Family Night Supper will happen as usual. Please update your reservation if you plan to miss supper. We will have a time of prayer after supper. There will be no activities for children, youth, or Adult Choir on January 24. All are welcome to attend “Moxie Matters” at The Grand. We will use volunteers from HHBC to help host this event, and we hope to see all who are able from our Highland Hills family at this event. Tickets and event information can be found at the link located at highlandhillsbaptist.org or call the church office for assistance in getting your ticket. If the cost is problematic for your family, please let us know so we can assist.

We need volunteers from our church to greet, collect tickets, work the merchandise table, serve and welcome our neighbors at this event. Please use a sign up sheet or visit highlandhillsbaptist.org to sign up to volunteer on the 24th.
