The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s General Assembly provides opportunities to explore the Fellowship’s passion for missions and spiritual transformation through workshops, social gatherings, and inspirational worship services. This year, the assembly will be held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta, which gives our church members a chance to participate without traveling a long distance. If you have never attended a CBF General Assembly, this is a good year to give it a try.
In addition to the CBF workshops and worship services, one of Highland Hills’ ministries will be featured at a dinner on Thursday evening, June 29, sponsored by Baptist News Global. BNG will feature Gospel Gothic, our partnership between Highland Hills and 100.9 The Creek FM, as a “conversation that matters.” The show during BNG’s dinner event will include an ensemble of Americana artists, providing live music, interwoven with a conversation among show producers Jake Hall and Keith Gammons, along with Brad Evans and Wes Griffith. The producers will discuss the radio program’s concept and its approach to engaging listeners around music and faith. Tickets and table sponsorships for this event are available at www.baptistnews.com. This event is just one of the reasons you should plan to attend the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s General Assembly. You’ll be amazed at the good work that CBF is doing locally and all around the world! Register for free at www.cbf.net/assembly.
