Cass DuCharme
Associate Pastor, Music & Youth
Cass DuCharme became the Minister of Music at Highland Hills in October of 1992. In October of 2005, he added the youth ministry of the church to his resume. He is married to Ruth Sprayberry DuCharme, the Children’s Minister at Highland Hills and has two children, Caitlyn, a freshman at Mercer University and Chase, a 10th grader at Howard High School.
Cass was born in Sanford, Maine, and moved to Brandon, Florida, as a child where he spent his formative years. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Carson-Newman College and a Master of Church Music degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Cass enjoys traveling, jogging, spending quality time with Ruth and the kids, an occasional round of golf, playing with his dogs Chip and Coda, and eating breakfast at Waffle House with his buddies every Thursday morning. He is also an avid University of Florida football fan. Go Gators!
Cass’ prayer for our church is for it to continue to nurture the faith of our young people and expand the faith of our older members. To share God’s love and minister to the people within the walls of the church, the surrounding area, and the world through ministry, missions, worship, and love.
