Kudos to the Cooks
The
reception Sunday for Jim and Sonja Dant was a big success. The
great room was full to overflowing with well wishers. The room was
tastefully decorated, the food was attractively and conveniently
displayed, and the circulation patterns were highly effective.
Empty plates and cups were quickly collected by smiling youth.
Every delicacy was delicious and the trays kept being magically
replenished as the hungry crowd fellowshipped and expressed their love
and good wishes to the Dants. Two weeks of planning and four
straight days of work at the church helped make the whole occasion
appear to come off effortlessly. Our heartfelt thanks go out to
the ladies and youth who served us all so well.

Children's Pancake Supper
Shrove Tuesday, February 21
We're flipping over pancakes and learning about Lent, too! Children and older
preschoolers are invited
to drop in for pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, February 21 from 6:00 -
7:00 p.m. at the DuCharme's home to celebrate the beginning of the
Lenten season.
We will enjoy sharing
this time together as we eat pancakes and participate in fun, Lenten
activities. You can sign up for this event in the children's area or by
calling the church office.
