A group of mostly mid-life HHBC members gathered recently to discover ways that their age group could connect better with each other through our church. The group enthusiastically discussed short-term Bible studies, mission trips, service projects, social gatherings, and a new Sunday School class.

The new Sunday School class (which has yet to be given a name) will begin meeting on Sunday, March 31, at 9:45 a.m. in the room on the main hallway next to the Parlor. To get things rolling, the class will do a six-week study based on the book Let Me Ask You a Question by Matthew Croasmun, which looks at the questions that Jesus asked. The first class on March 31 will be an introduction to the study and books will be available at that time. The study will be led by three facilitators, who will guide the members to discuss the week’s Scripture passage and reading.

If you would like to gather with this group of mid-life folks for a time of Bible study and ministry, join us on March 31 at 9:45 a.m. If you have questions about this new class, you can contact Carol Brown or Laura Ann Tatum.
