Tailgate Kickoff Party

Wednesday, August 28

Join us for a Tailgate Kickoff Party to celebrate a new year of Music and Missions. Get in the spirit by wearing your favorite team colors, shirt, or hat. Bring your competitive spirit and join in the games and fun activities as we mark the beginning of our Wednesday night programming for the year.

Our church family will gather in the Great Room on Wednesday, August 28, at 6:00 p.m. for some yummy tailgate food. We will introduce you to the teachers who will be leading our children and youth in choirs and mission classes and ask for God’s blessings on them as they give of themselves in sharing God’s love.

WOM School Supply Collection

WOM School Supply Collection

Our ministry to children extends beyond the walls of Highland Hills Baptist Church. The connection that we have with children throughout our community is a key component of our mission endeavors. This is evident in our ministry to the Kings Park Community and our partnership with MLK Elementary School.
One simple way that we can support and encourage these children is by providing much-needed school supplies. Often families don’t have the means to equip their children with the tools that they need to be successful in school. By purchasing notebook paper, pencils, markers, notebooks, pens, and other such items, we can give children a hand up in their education. Highland Hills will be collecting school supplies over the next month. You can contribute to this project by purchasing items and placing them in the bins located throughout the church.

Global Women Meet to Bake and Eat

Global Women Meet to Bake and Eat

Tuesday, October 2

Grab your apron and come on over to Emily Brumley's at 2725 N. Hillandale Circle at 6:30 on Tuesday, October 2 to help HHBC's Global Women prepare for the 2019 casserole ministry. We will be preparing Almond Chicken casserole to share with members who need a little TLC.

We will enjoy the casserole as a light supper before we begin putting them together, along with a frozen salad, so we need to know how many folks are planning to attend. This is a very meaningful ministry at Highland Hills, and building the casseroles isa fun time to work together. In addition to cooking, we will have a brief prayer time.

We hope many of you will join us on Tuesday. Please respond to Gloria Marsall before Monday, October 1, if you plan to attend.
