HHBC Cherry Blossom Clean Up Day

Saturday, March 24

On Saturday morning March 24, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm, Historic Macon and Highland Hills are partnering to work on improving our neighborhood. Adults and youth are invited to come and work alongside neighbors to clean up the property at 1083 Boulevard.

We will be cleaning up trash and cleaning up the yard. Bring your tools such as clippers, saws, and weed eaters. Enjoy this time to serve and get to know our neighbors. Parking is available in a grass lot across the street from 1083 Boulevard. Lunch will be provided following the work time. Click here to sign up online.

Loaves & Fishes

HHBC delivers sack lunches to Loaves & Fishes on the first Tuesday of each month. Sunday School classes and other groups take turns packing the non-perishables into the lunches on the Sunday prior. Then, a volunteer (or two or three) on the Tuesday morning add a sandwich (provided) and deliver the lunches to Loaves & Fishes by 11 am. See Emily Brumley or Erin Hall or sign up below if you would like to be a Tuesday volunteer.

Micah Project for March

We continue our partnership with LifeSpring Residential Treatment Center for Women by providing baby and maternity items. Please donate maternity clothing (new and gently used, all sizes) baby clothing and baby items to support the clothing closet at LifeSpring. There is an immediate need for these items, and LifeSpring regularly welcomes women with infants. Several consignment sales are happening around Macon, and could be a nice place to purchase items to donate. Drop items in the bin near the church office through March 23.
