HHBC Awarded a Grant with Kings Park

In the Fall of 2018, members of the Missions Committee, alongside Kings Park neighborhood leadership, completed the Neighborhood Institute of the Historic Macon Foundation. This program allowed us to be eligible for a grant to improve an area of need in the neighborhood. This grant will support an endeavor called the "Check-In Challenge." Our goals for this challenge will help our Kings Park neighbors improve communication and engage neighbors in activities at the community center. When we complete the Check-In Challenge, we are able to host a wonderful celebration party at the community center. Stay tuned for ways that you can volunteer. We will have opportunities to serve children and work alongside Rebuilding Macon in this neighborhood during the summer. Thanks be to God for new ways to be the presence of Christ with our neighbors in Kings Park.
