Intentional Faith Development

In Vision 20/20, we dreamed of becoming a congregation where members are

  • biblically literate,

  • theologically and historically knowledgeable, and

  • growing spiritually so that they engage community and culture in ways faithful to our unique Baptist identity.

To do that, we would offer a variety of opportunities on Sunday mornings and throughout the week that

  • Engage all generations,

  • Meet needs of people who hold a variety of perspectives, and

  • Are innovative ways of deepening our faith as followers of Christ.

Love God with Your Mind via These Sunday Morning Opportunities

Jesus calls us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. These opportunities help us to love God with our minds so that we can better love God and neighbor with all our strength as we live and work outside these walls.

Birth-Age 2
Room 26

The babies are rocked, fed, and loved by teachers who welcome them into a warm and caring environment. Teachers interact with older children through play and stories to share God’s love.

3-, 4- & 5-year-olds
Room 23

Sunday School class for preschoolers who are three, four, and five years old by September 1 of the current Sunday School year. Class meets 9:45am–10:45am on Sundays. The preschoolers hear Bible stories and learn of God's love through hands-on activities taught by loving teachers.

1st-5th Graders
Room 25

Mandy Curlee and Wimberley Rader
Elementary-aged children spend this hour of Bible study creating, singing, learning, and sharing. This class seeks to carry children through the Bible over a six-year cycle with a curriculum that is comprehensive, theologically sound, and Christ-centered.

Heart Buddies
Room 28

Heart Buddies is a ministry for children and youth who have certain physical and emotional needs that cannot be met in our standard classroom. This sensory room is a place of care and comfort for these students. It is staffed by trained Heart Buddy Interns who serve on staff in our childcare ministry.

Youth (6th-12th Grades)
