Being an Encouraging Church

Highland Hills has long been a church that values and supports mission work, both near and far. One way that we show our support is by serving as an Encourager Church for some of our CBF field personnel.

Several years ago, we entered into an Encourager Church Covenant with Carson and Laura Foushee in Japan. Recently, the missions committee voted to also enter into an Encourager Church Covenant with Shane and Dianne McNary (Slovakia) and Missy Ward Angalla (Uganda). With these covenants, HHBC agrees to support these CBF field personnel financially ($1,200 each year). We also agree to pray for them and to promote ways that our members can be involved in missions.
