Do. Love. Walk.

Last week, 19 youth and four adults traveled to Greenville, South Carolina, to participate in Passport Furman. There, they studied the Scripture from Micah 6:8: “What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Throughout the week, the youth were challenged to live in their world like Jesus did in his. To Do Justice - remembering that justice is for everyone for we all are God’s children. To Love Kindness - knowing that kindness should be shown to everyone, even your siblings. To Walk Humbly with God - wherever they go. They worked hard on their mission sites, played hard at the rec. party, participated in wonderful worship services, performed at the talent show, and played in the volleyball tournament. They concluded each day with thought provoking church group devotions. Each night at Passport they discussed how they could continue to Do. Love. and Walk. at home through local mission efforts, participation in youth activities, and in our worship services.

Cass would like to thank Rachel Greco, Wimberley Rader and Joshua Fuller for all they did in chaperoning this trip. The youth would like to thank all of you who supported them through the fundraiser, financial support, and prayers.

We all are so proud of our youth group and all that they do to make our church a vibrant part of the kingdom and God’s work. Do. Love. Walk. The youth invite you to join them as they Do Justice, Love Kindness, and Walk Humbly with God right here in Macon.
