Hairnets, Rice, and Big Smiles at Rise Against Hunger Event

Our church and community turned out in great numbers to package 10,000 meals on Sunday, May 22. We worked together to scoop rice, seal bags, and sling boxes as our Great Room hummed with activity and lively tunes. We are grateful for the help of Boy Scout Troop 170, Mercer on Mission students, and the women of Life Spring, who joined with our church members to get the job done. These meals and the good work of Rise Against Hunger are helping to end the hunger crisis in our world.
